• Sunday, June 4th  Join in our Communion celebration.  An Ice Cream Social will follow after Morning Worship.
• Saturday, June 17th @ 3pm  Youth Choir Rehearsal. 
• Sunday, June 18th  Happy Father's Day!  Baptism will be conducted.
• Saturday, June 24th @ 10am  The Men's Fellowship will get together for Church Wide Clean-Up.  All brothers are expected and are encouraged to invite others.  Bring your gloves, hedge trimmers, pruners, ladders, hammers, screwdrivers and the attitude to fix what needs to be fixed.  We start with breakfast.  Men's Choir rehearsal will follow.
• Sunday, June 25th  Join us for our Annual Men's Day Celebration.  Atlanta City Councilman Michael Julian Bond will be our speaker.  All are invited to fellowship and to dine with us following Morning Worship.
• Tuesday, June 27th - Thursday, June 29th @ 6pm  Join us for our Vacation Bible School.  All ages are encouraged to participate and to bring guests.

• Saturday, July 8th @ 10am  Our Churchwide Leadership Training Session to be facilitated by the Rev. Dr. William Flippin (Pastor, Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church).  ALL members are invited to attend.

• Saturday, August 12th @ 10am  Our Ministry Leadership Training will include all officers in our various ministries.  In this meeting we will build on some of the insights provided in the July meeting.    

• PEOPLE OF GOD!!!  Remember, "For We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:12 NKJV).  Stay focused.  Stay prayerful.  Trust in God and not in man!  Go forward!

What We Believe...

It is our belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  Christ died on the cross so that our sins can be forgiven.  Accepting Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour is what makes us saved and  it allows us to be "filled" with the Holy Spirit.  Serving the Lord is what makes us worthy of the blessings and the joys promised.  We love the Lord.  We serve the Lord.  We love one another.  We support one another. 

Our task is to preach and teach the Word of God to the people of God in such a way as to move us to make choices and changes in our lives that will allow God to have His way in and through us.  Everyone, regardless of age, race, gender or religious "affiliation" needs to know that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins and all Christ asks in return is that we form a personal relationship with him and and receive the Holy Spirit.

Here I have to warn you that this personal relationship, if it true, if it is based on faith, love and trust, can bring you everything you desire in life.  The warning is needed because others may not have that same level of faith, love and trust that you might have and subsequently they might not understand or appreciate the "new you."  Keep growing and going forward and God will give you the ability to help them to experience and appreciate a new relationship in Christ and being led by the Holy Spirit. 

 Hang in there because the changes in your life will be worth the effort.
